Meet at Makakilo Community Park by 8:30 am to fill out the landowners' forms then head up to the Akupu Enclosure at Camp Palehua. 

The plan is to leave by 1 pm. Each person needs to bring water to keep hydrated.

We will need to have each persons email address and phone number they can be contacted that morning in case we have an emergency to cancel the service project that morning.

Each person will need to be properly dressed with toed covered shoes that have soles for traction. In other words, there are NO slippers or shoes like tennis shoes.  

We are working on a hillside, so having shoes with traction reduces a safety issue.  We will be cutting down invasive strawberry guava trees. Please bring your own pruning saws if you have. NO machetes or cane knives which can cause safety issues.

If you are interested, please sign up no later than 2/18/2023. Sorry, for safety reasons, NO Minors allowed. 

We may also be planting some native plants to take the place of the alien invasive plants.
